From the 10/30 Show – Is Eric Holder, U.S. Attorney General, Still a Friend With Purdue Pharma

As of August 28, 2009, the former three (stooges) executives for Purdue Pharma, Howard Udell, Michael Friedman, and Paul Goldenheim lost their appeal to do business with the government again. http://www.hhs.gov/dab/decisions/dabdecisions/dab2268.pdf

Udell, Friedman and Goldenheim pleaded guilty and were convicted of “misbranding” OxyContin in 2007. As a result, Kathleen Sibelius, Secretary of the Health and Human Services Department, and the department’s Inspector General have been effective in making sure the three criminals have not been able to do business with government agencies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and other health care programs since the conviction.

It was recently reported in Corporate Counsel that the three former executives with the conscience of a serial killer are attempting to bring their “good names” back. They have hired the finest lawyers in Washington to overturn the previous decision to “debar them from government”. http://www.law.com/jsp/cc/PubArticleCC.jsp?id=1202519649700

The Law firms of Hogan Lovells and Sidley Austin were both mentioned as representing one or more of the three miscreants. Of the top ten law firms mentioned in Washington DC, both are on the list. A third law firm considered one of the best in Washington DC is Covington and Burling. http://www.wtop.com/?nid=&sid=2020944

United States Attorney General Eric Holder worked for Covington and Burling prior to his being appointed by President Obama. In other words, the three former Purdue Pharma executives hired probably the most expensive law firms in the country to possibly get access to Eric Holder. It can be assumed partners in the most prestigious and well connected law firms in the country would know each other.

Eric Holder, prior to being appointed Attorney General had represented Purdue Pharma when he was with Covington and Burling. http://motherjones.com/mojo/2009/01/why-eric-holder-represents-whats-wrong-washington

On Sunday night, the radio show asked: Has the upcoming trial been fixed? Is Eric Holder going to influence the outcome for the Three Stooges? The oral arguments go before a three judge panel in Washington on December 6th. Eric Holder must know that the American Public is watching.
