From the 1/11 Show – Joe From New York Called In

If you missed this show, at the 29:00 minute mark we heard from Joe, a 21 year old young man from New York City. Joe shared his story about being involved in an accident and before long was “hooked on Vicodin”. We heard first hand about a doctor’s office in New York who will give out a prescription for $80 cash and not see the patient. The secretary completes the deal at the front desk. I reminded Joe that he is part of the 21st century opium epidemic that future historians will be writing about in the future.
