From the 3/29 Show – Are Hillary and Barack Protecting The Drug Companies?

As the guns have flowed South from the United States and the Drugs flow north from Mexico, the United States leaders are finally beginning to address the continued death toll in Mexico. However, the phrasing last week summarizing the cause of the problem by our Secretary of State needs comment. Matthew Lee, from the Associated Press quoted Hillary Clinton; “Our insatiable demand for illegal drugs fuels the drug trade”.
The radio show questions why Ms. Clinton only used the word, “illegal”. Our drug companies in America are clearly part of the “insatiable demand” that is fueling the deaths on both sides of the border. In Florida, about seven times more people are losing their life from the implications of oxycodone than heroin. More people are losing their lives with the help of methadone than oxycodone. The combined “cocktails” including alprazalam, carisoprodal and/or alcohol are taking thousands more loved ones from us in our country.
The Obama administration and the American press has been disingenuous in their reporting on the deaths in Mexico. Hillary’s quote should have included; “Our insatiable demand for LEGAL AND ILLEGAL drugs fuels the drug trade.” Larry G
