Last week I discussed how the major mavens of capitalizing on the human condition encourage all to “drink responsibly”, “gamble responsibly” and “take prescription drugs responsibly”. They all know that a percentage of people will fall prey to their products and suffer severe negative consequences. Although all must take responsibility for their actions, society has been coerced into believing the legal profit taker is not responsible for their actions. An amazing phenomena when most can’t wait to put a drug dealer behind bars.
This week I reminded all that when a parent speaks publicly to save others the organized pain organizations unleash their minions with negative comments directed toward the parents for neglecting their duties as a parent. The pain orgs who are funded by the drug companies have skillfully created a mindset of “parent responsibility” for the blame regardless of the background or dedication of the parent.
The radio show asked who has never done anything stupid in their entire life? Who can answer no to ALL of the following:
Driven after drinking, been in a car in which the driver has consumed alcohol, used an illicit drug, taken a drug that was not prescribed to them, had unprotected sex, or did something extremely dangerous. The list is endless.
As a reminder, using the marketing mindset of the phony pain organizations anyone who could answer yes to any of the previous had horrible parents! You had parents who shirked their responsibility in teaching you correctly!
The nonsense of “blaming the parents” should not be tolerated by our media and country. Good parents are suffering in every community in this country because of the unencumbered production and distribution of narcotics. We have legal drug dealers who don’t care if your children get hurt and the silence continues. If a family speaks up to save other children the industry castigates the family.
The shame shouldn’t be coming from the parents, but the narcotic drug industry that doesn’t care who they harm.
