Prescription Addiction Radio Show - Ban OxyContin - Sign the Petition

May 12, 2009 07:49 by larry

Please go to http://www.banoxycontin.com/ to sign the BAN OXYCONTIN Petition.   The petition was created in response to the FDA holding public meetings on May 27-28, 2009 in Washington to solicit comments on the prescription opioid fiasco that was created by the introduction of OxyContin almost 14 years ago.  This is an important year historically.  It took our federal government 14 years to ban heroin from legal use on our streets and we are moving into the 14th year of the introduction of "heroin's legal cousin", OxyContin.  The radio show contends that OxyContin is the "virus" that started the growing numbers of addictions and deaths from the legal prescription drugs.  The comments accompanying the signatures are chilling.  Please review the petition http://www.banoxycontin.com/

Oxycontin should be banned so that no more teens will die from this terrible drug! i lost a good friend to it and i think it is time we got the word out to every parent, every congressman, every supreme court justice, and even President Obama about just how dangerous Oxycotin can be!

let's make this world safer for our teens!

I think that it should absolutely be banned. There is no need for it since there are safer, less addictive medications to treat pain.
