The show revealed the moral shortcomings of Governor Charlie Crist as they relate to the recent signing of the Florida Drug Monitoring Bill (SB 462).  Charlie Crist had to make a decision.  Was he going to protect a drug company that has been implicated in thousands of deaths and convicted in Federal Court or stand up for the citizens in Florida?  Charlie took the side of the drug company.

Charlie Crist has known since at least 2004 the damage OxyContin has helped create for individuals and families (http://www.oxyabusekills.com)   Crist knows that the Drug Monitoring Bill he signed will not stop a 20 year old kid from getting a cash prescription for OxyContin from any one of the many unscrupulous doctors in our state.  Crist knows that the Bill will not prevent that same kid from getting prescriptions from many doctors in the same day.  Crist knows that the quantities of addictive pills the doctors can write for remains unlimited.  Crist knows that the parade from Kentucky to visit the pill mills in Florida will remain unabated.  The radio show is the only media outlet in Florida revealing the sham the Drug Data Base Bill has become.

Charlie Crist is hoping to be Florida’s next U.S. Senator.    Unfortunately, Crist, by way of this Drug Monitoring Bill, has displayed himself to be morally defunct on the drug issue.  It appears he has put the major concerns of who sell the drugs to our family members ahead of creating the best monitoring bill in the country.
